At Turning Point Church, we have five core values that communicate our culture.
PRESENCE - The move of God is the point.
The center of our heart is to see GOD MOVE in every service, every gathering, in every life. We are a New Testament church which means we are Spirit filled and Spirit led… and not just on paper, but in practice and pursuit.
PEOPLE - We need God and,… we need each other.
We weren’t made to go it alone. We highly honor relationships and experiencing our Lord in our lives together.
PURITY - We aim for the mark of a pure heart.
Purity is the core virtue of our core values. Purity in love, honor, and truth is how we steward our motives toward each other and how we walk worthy of the Lord.
PASSION - We live to give our all.
Jesus is worthy of our best, He is worthy of our all. We give our time, talent and treasure with the fervency and fire fitting the lifestyle of a believer.
PROGRESS - We are always growing.
We intentionally and continually grow by the grace of God. As individuals, we pursue spiritual maturity. As a church family, we give grace and make space for others - there’s always room for one more.
THE BIBLE
1) We believe the Bible is God’s Word to all people. We seek to understand and obey it’s truth. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
THE ONE TRUE GOD
2) We believe there is one God who is three persons. We search to know Him in all of His complexity and beauty. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16-17)
JESUS CHRIST
3) We believe Jesus was fully human and is fully God. We rejoice that Christ is the bridge between us and God. (Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 7:26; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:11)
FALL OF MAN
4) We believe man chose sin and this choice separated us from God. We are deeply aware that we too are marked by willful disobedience. (Romans 5:12-19; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7)
SALVATION OF MAN
5) We believe God extends forgiveness and redemption to us through Christ. We repent and rejoice in our forgiveness. (Luke 24:47; Romans 8:16; Ephesians 4:24)
ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH
6) We believe God commands His followers to celebrate communion and water baptism. We practice these symbolic actions, reflecting on their significance. (Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47,48; 1 Corinthians 11:26)
HOLY SPIRIT
7) We believe that followers of Jesus should be empowered by the Holy Spirit. We expect and seek supernatural power in our daily lives. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 19:1-7)
EVIDENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
8) We believe the mark of surrender to the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. We pray that God would grant us this spiritual gift. (Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4-10; 1 Corinthians 12:28)
SANCTIFICATION
9) We believe God offers freedom from sin’s grasp through a process called sanctification. We live lives that are pleasing to God. (Romans 12:1,2; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15,16; Romans 6:1-11)
THE CHURCH
10) We believe in the Church. We live in this community of faith, inviting others to join us.
(Mark 16:15, 16; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:11-16; James 1:27)
THE MINISTRY
11) We believe God gives leaders as gifts to His Church. We serve those whom the Lord entrusts to us. (Mark 16:15-20; John 4:23,24; Ephesians 4:11-16; Galatians 2:10; 6:10)
HEALING
12) We believe that God can heal both the body and the heart. We pray with faith and hope.
(Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16,17; James 5:14-16)
THE BLESSED HOPE
13) We believe Jesus will return to claim His Church. We live in expectancy of His coming.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; Revelation 20:11-13; 2 Peter 3:13)
MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST
14) We believe Christ will one day be seen clearly as King on earth. We live as citizens of His Kingdom now. (Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27; Revelation 1:7)
FINAL JUDGEMENT
15) We believe God is the ultimate Judge. We live knowing that our choices will echo through eternity.

NEW HEAVENS & NEW EARTH
16) We believe we will live with God forever. We live with hope regardless of our circumstances.
